Picturesque Capel offers more than just rustic countryside and undulating hills.  Nearby is the only remaining naturally occurring Tuart Forest in the world, the habitat of a diverse range of flora and fauna and 29 kilometres of coastline with sparkling waters that offer safe swimming, fishing, scuba diving, surfing and boating.  Just up the road is a charming picnic spot at Ironstone Gully Falls set in soaring Jarrah Forrest with seasonal stunning displays of wildflowers.  Every year Capelfest draws huge crowds with a showcase of the best of local arts and crafts.
