Bunbury Regional Art Galleries Bunbury
Regional Art Galleries are situated in a distinctive pink former
convent in the City centre only minutes from Bunbury’s
thriving shopping and cafe strip. Only minutes away from the
Bunbury City Centre , Bunbury Regional Art Galleries is Western
Australia’s largest regional gallery. Bunbury Regional Art
Galleries has three gallery spaces where exhibitions by regional,
national and international artists, designers and craft
practitioners are held through out the year.
Bunbury Regional Art Galleries run artist-in-residence programs,
professional development for artists in practical and theory
classes, specific education, community and indigenous programs
tailored programs to groups and organisations including schools
community organisations and access exhibition space is also
available to local artists, emerging artists, schools.
Bunbury Regional Art Galleries may be booked for events such as
meetings, conferences, launches, promotions, weddings and
receptions. Music from jazz and rock to opera also form part of the
lively entertainment performed at the galleries with exhibitions
and the unique building forming a dramatic backdrop.

Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre
The Bunbury Entertainment Centre was specifically built by the City
of Bunbury people of South Western Australia with a first class
venue on the national theatre circuit.
Situated on the waterfront, right in the heart of the city, the
theatre has been designed to house major visiting professional
companies as well as local amateur performances in music, theatre,
dance or intimate revue.
The Centre features an 815 seat theatre, bar, kitchen and servery
facilities and can be adapted to accommodate receptions,
conventions and exhibitions.
Public Art
Most major intersections and roundabouts in Bunbury feature
spectacular statues by famous local artists, Mary Knott and Russell
Sheridan. Mostly in a nautical theme to fit in with the maritime
aspect of Bunbury, this public art adds to the atmosphere in the
streets.

is blessed with sandy ocean beaches including the family friendly
Koombana Bay Beach and the 8 kilometre long Back Beach, rivers and
estuarine waterways.

Outside
Perth, Bunbury is Western Australia's next largest city. It boasts
a thriving CBD shopping and business area that is these days more
famous for its many restaurants and cafés, or as it is
referred to locally - The Cappuccino Strip – a restaurant and
café precinct in the middle area of Victoria Street, as well
as the fast developing Marlston waterfront area.

abound with all styles of food available from the upmarket
restaurants, bars and eateries and seafood restaurants and cafes,
Indian, Chinese, Japanese and much more. The nightlife is varied
with many venues, mainly in the CBD, hosting live music and a
modern cinema complex.

Centres in Bunbury, Australind and Eaton, three international Golf
courses, innumerable Bowling clubs and top class facilities for
most sports.
To get around Bunbury there are ample modern taxis, a public bus
transport service and more recently a tourist "tram" that will
carry you about the city areas and give you an explanation of the
local sites as you go.

service around Bunbury operating on a 1 hour shuttle
basis.
